Louis Mauro

Lou Mauro is a veteran of the marching arts with a career spanning more than 50 years. He began his journey as a performer with the PAL Drum Corps (1969–1979) and the Archer Eppler Alumni Corps (1978–1990). In 1985, Lou founded the Illusion Drum and Bugle Corps, serving as Director for sixteen years and leading the corps to three Garden State Circuit Div III Championship titles in the 1990s.

Following a successful decade as a Show Coordinator for USBands, he co-founded A Wing and a Prayer Brass Ensemble in 2010 with his wife, Elizabeth. He continues to perform with the ensemble today, bringing a lifetime of musical expertise and leadership to the stage."
